Research and Development / Projects
The third
leg will be responsible for all research and
development actions within our community and
business sector. In this section we will do
research and development to ensure that business
and related tasks are implemented in the most
cost effective manner and that it is
sustainable. Projects already in process or
envisage for the near future may include inter
alia: -

Water and Sanitation. Here we refer to
the development and establishment of a
“Public Private Partnership” with the
Department of Water and Sanitation, the
Moqhaka Municipality and ourselves as a
member in the newly formed Non-Profit
Organisation/Community Organisation.
We have had a meeting with Mr Mqwathi on
18 February 2016 and we received a
letter of authority and a mandate to
continue with the process. On 6 April
2016 we received the signed MOU to
structure the Public Private Partnership
with Moqhaka Local Municipality. We
trust to have a registered company (NPO)
in place in due course. |

Waste water facility upgrade in
progress. Estimated completion date end
of August 2016. |

Electricity. The same as in point 3a
will apply except that the Department of
Water and Sanitation will be replaced in
the second NPO by Eskom. |

Development of the new landfill area is
in progress. |

Other projects to follow is all basic
service delivery to the community,
wetland development and all other
infrastructure as per our mandate. |

In
order to strategies and plan properly we
require accurate data. We are already
busy capturing all daily pump records at
the water purification facility as this
was never been done. We are also busy
with the development of a complete Town
profile for both Rammulotsi and
Viljoenskroon which will help us plan
for the future. |

ask what the future may hold for us, I would use
the words of Peter Drucker by saying: - “the
best way to predict the future is to create it”. |
